Just a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners out there – thanks for being part of the community of contagious encouragement. SPONSORSHIP NOTE: I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t le the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. –Steve Jobs You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’” –Eleanor Roosevelt I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. –Nelson Mandela It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are. –E.E. Cummings Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage. –Maya Angelou THE THREE CHOICES THAT COME WITH SELF DOUBT: Turn up Turn down Turn off Having courage doesn’t mean that fear is absent; it means that you are able to walk outside of your comfort zone and walk towards life, not from it. Sound dictates so much of my life – we are all in a constant conversation with ourselves. What is it that you are actually hearing or listening to? Being aware of your thoughts is your first step towards mastering your mindset.
