LOVING THROUGH LOSS PODCAST #190 In this week’s epsiode of Confidence on the Go we’re chatting with The Love & Loss Project’s April Boyd about: * How to love life through seasons of loss * Finding light in loss, particularly in child and pregnancy loss * Where to start in order to turn a tragedy into a love story or a legacy Just a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners out there – thanks for being part of the community of contagious encouragement. SPONSORSHIP NOTE: I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause. I will not let my destruction be how people remember her. I will not let that be her legacy. And so, I decided to survive; survive and share her love and light with the world. Turn this tragedy into a love story. And I love it, you do amazingly at speaking right to us on topics that are so close to our hearts. Thank you! I've been trying to eat healthier the past couple of years and become a better me! I am almost 40, my girls are teens now and have been doing a lot of soul searching on what the next half of my life is going to bring... So what keeps coming up is to be the best version of myself and help my girls to do the same, to be an inspiration to them that we can achieve anything we set our minds to. I also have been searching for something to fill the emptiness from them growing up and not needing me as much! Like what is my purpose beyond being a wife & mom, because its been all about them up to this point! So this past year has been a crazy ride on self discovery & personal growth! I started a blog, immersed in personal development, journal, tried meditation, workout consistently, and stick to a clean eating healthier diet as much as I can. Anyway basically that is what has led me to you! In wanting to become more, I want to help other moms to feel better about themselves, etc.. I've struggled with my weight, confidence, body image issues, & insecurities all my life I would love to help others to never have the feelings that I've struggled with. Two mos. ago I became a Coach with beachbody, I am trying to help others become healthier, more fit, and generally just be happier! Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!
