How God Uses You in Your Work with Jordan Raynor Have you ever felt like the only way you can serve God is by becoming a pastor or joining a full-time ministry? Today, my friend Jordan Raynor explains why all types of work matter to God. Does God Care About Your Work? “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23 (NIV) This verse completely changed my perspective on work. I don’t know about you, but when I know that God cares about the details of my work, it makes me want to step it up, give it my best effort, and work to please him. Whether you’re the CEO in the corner office, or you’re waiting tables, or you’re a stay-at-home mom, God wants each of us to put our entire heart into our work. Spend a few minutes journaling your answers to these questions: Where do you see God in your work right now? How can you remember that God is using you right now in your work? How can you do your work unto the Lord more intentionally?
