If you are a studio photographer and you are used to controlling your light and circumstances, I know that shooting on location can completely freak you out. That’s just a simple fact. But it can be so much fun when you drive down and find a magic stream light coming through the trees on a long windy road, or a glisten that reflects in her eyes when the sunlight hits that magic golden hour. PLUS I love the variety I can create for my clients by consistently changing up my backdrops and it keeps the gypsy in me stimulated creatively. Let’s face it, if you want to succeed in personal branding, you need to get comfortable with shooting on location. So in this episode I wanted to share my top tips for shooting on location. Head’s up, this episode is not rocket science, it is just about preparation and planning. But all practical advice to help you get the most for your clients every time.
