Jenna Riley's father needs a kidney transplant and she has selflessly offered to be a living donor for him. The good news is she is a match. The bad news is the hospital has refused to give him a transplant unless he falls in line with the Covid shot(s). It gets even harder to make sense of the hospital's demand of adherence to this extremely broad non-individualized protocol as she tells their story, gives us his background and recent other major surgeries at the same hospital. Cecily and I then discuss further, adding in my (Rita's) recent experience with the Barnes and Northwestern transplant teams as my father in law was a lung recipient exactly a year ago.
