While We Were Still Sinners

One of the questions that comes to mind when reading the Old Testament is how can God keep forgiving and showing mercy to people who keep rejecting him and sinning against him? The answer we get in the New Testament is found in our passage from Romans 5, "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us". This truth is the evidence for how much God loves his people!
