Unrequited Love

God shows his love to his people, who then don't love him back. He provides for them, cares for them, and they turn away from him. Often when wealth increases, people stray further from God because they don't need him, showing they don't really love him. Jesus calls this out and reminds us that love is at the heart of a relationship with God. Passages in this episode: Hosea 11-13, Matthew 19
