The True God & King

As we continue to read the stories of the kings of Israel and Judah, we see that even the best of these kings fail to be the true king that can save and love his people, caring for them as God calls them to do so. Thankfully, this changes as we begin to read Matthew 1, and meet the true God and true King, Jesus, born to save his people. Passages in this episode: 1 Kings 18-20, 2 Chronicles 17, Matthew 1
