The Shepherd King

Jesus is the true shepherd King who comes not on a warhorse first, but on a donkey to proclaim a message of peace accomplished through his sacrificial death. In doing this, Jesus is the good shepherd who protects his flock, cares for them and gives his life for them in order for them to follow, trust and obey him.
