The Mediator

A Mediator is a person who goes between two parties to bring them together. Jesus is depicted as the Mediator between God and humanity, bringing sinful human beings to a holy God through his own blood shed to pay the penalty for sin. Since Jesus' blood paid completely, those who trust in him need not make any further sacrifice and can now know that there is also no fear of judgment anymore. Jesus is the final Mediator!
