The Forsaken King

After being rejected by even his closest followers, Jesus cries out on the cross that he was forsaken by God, quoting from Psalm 22. And in this we get a glimpse into the depth of the suffering Jesus experienced in the place of those who deserved to be forsaken for their sin.
