Sin is Serious

God takes sin seriously. His laws in Leviticus show this and his warning in Hebrews is for us to see how the Israelites in the desert became hard hearted by indulging in sin and unwilling to listen to Moses, which led to their death. In the same way, the warning is for us to listen to someone far greater than Moses, Jesus, who warns us to turn to him, the only one who can forgive sin and give new life in him.
