Judgment & Judging

Our passages today describe the judgment of God against evil and injustice in ways that remind us that God can not ignore it but must bring just judgment on it. At the same time, Jesus warns us about being hypocritical judges of others, and also calls us to see how God will judge those who claim to serve him but to whom he says, "depart from me, I never knew you."
