Joyful Love and Judgment

We have quite a contrast in our passages today between a further depiction of love between a husband and wife and a warning about judgment on the day of Jesus' return. What holds these two passages together is love; a love designed and given by God and a love that gives hope to those who otherwise could only expect judgment.
