Holy Power and Protection

Often people think of God as a doting grandfather-like figure who gives whatever you want and is never offended. But that is not the God of the bible. The God of the bible is both holy and merciful. He is not someone to take lightly, while also showing patience and love. It is important to wrestle with this combination since to miss it means you are not getting a true picture of God.
