Faithful to the Unfaithful

God describes the people as an unfaithful wife, who cheat on him and chase after other men, or gods. In response, God brings judgment on them, but also offers hope to those who turn back to him, promising to restore them because he is the truly faithful God, keeping his promise of love, even to those who were unfaithful.
