Civil War

Civil war has broken out in Israel because Absalom has staged a successful coup against his father David. In the midst of this story we see more devastating effects of sin and recognize as well how God can and does save David from his enemies. Sadly, this civil war is also something that can happen in our own hearts as we fight against the sin in our lives and are reminded of our need for God's deliverance as well.
