A King Who Saves

Each of the passages today speaks of God as the true King who saves people, even when they couldn't see how it was possible. Joseph explained to his brothers that God had sent him to Egypt in order to save them from famine. And Paul explained that he was saved by Jesus even not based on what Paul had done but on what Jesus had done for him.
