Joburg Ballet’s CEO, Elroy Fillis-Bell on what to expect from Joburg Ballet launches the 2024 ballet year with Scarcity, an exhilarating trio of works showcasing one SA premiere and two world premieres in a programme that explores concepts of scarcity, absence and loss. These works interrogate the social context of our lives and explore the absence of natural and material resources and the loss of memory, identity and self.
