Where will this path of faith lead me?

Today, we are back in the book of Ruth! Last week, we dove into the very first chapter of the book. And I left you with a challenge to step into your inner Ruth. Let Orpah take the bench for a while, and walk in faith like Ruth walked. But what happens to Ruth and Naomi?! What happens next after I walk in obedience to God? Remember, our focus is faith and following faith in obedience to God, even when it’s full of uncertainty. And sometimes there is work to be done in your waiting.Have you ever been in a season of life where God made you wait and wait and wait and wait? Or maybe you’re in that season right now! Maybe you did follow your inner Ruth and you are walking obediently in faith! You’ve given up certain things of the flesh that made you “happy” and now you’re like ok God, where is that joy you told me about? My life is still pretty crappy. I’m still battling depression and I feel super broken. Where is my healing? Maybe you’re starting a new business endeavor, working so consistently and just don’t see any fruits of your labor yet. Like ok God You told me to pursue this. I don’t see any benefit yet. Growth takes consistency and work. And Ruth worked without knowing what God had in store for her. Add this to the list of Ruth characteristics to live by: working while we wait. Does Ruth get a "happy ending"? What were God's bigger plans for her? What are God's bigger plans for me? Oh they happen!
