The Lie: My Spouse needs to give me what I need

We are continuing our mini-series of The Lies! In this week's episode, we are tackling relationships! More specifically marriages and the feeling that our spouse should give us everything. We think they are supposed to be our source of love, validation, identity, self worth...but is that what my husband is made to do? Feeling loved, beautiful, wanted, secure, validated, are not bad things to feel. We want to feel those, right?? You want to feel these things! The problem r husbands can make me feel...it implies he has the power to make you feel...and sister, he doesn’t have that power. He does not control your thoughts. He doesn’t control your feelings. YOU control BOTH those. So join me today as we dive deeper into this topic.
