Stop comparing yourself

This topic really hits home for me. Jealousy and comparison are two places in my life where the devil knows he can get a foothold into my confidence, courage, and boldness. And until recently, I have been so ashamed to admit this fault.There is always someone with a prettier IG feed. Someone who is always in better shape than you. Someone who makes more money than you. And what the world doesn’t teach us is how to handle this conundrum. We don’t take a class in HS or college that teaches us an abundance mindset vs scarcity mindset. Our scarcity mindset leads to jealousy, negative competition, comparison, and leaving you feeling like you are less than if you’re not the best. And the Bible gives us a perfect story that depicts jealously and comparison with Leah and Rachel. We join me as we study the story of these two sisters and how their jealousy of one another lead them to fight over the wrong thing.
