We have a tendency to believe that if God doesn't answer our prayers right here, right now, that means He has forgotten us and He doesn't care about us. We want immediate answers from God instead of trusting God's timing, no matter how slow it might feel. And when we don't get those immediate answer, we will take it upon ourselves to do it anyway, trusting our own will over God's. And it never turns out right when we do it without God, does it?
