How can I hear God’s voice better?

And the passage of The Good Shepherd sheds light on a question I get asked so much, “How can I hear God’s voice?” And it also serves as a warning to us to be aware of actual things in this world that are trying to manipulate and influence us away from our Good Shepherd. We can hear the voice of the Lord! Did you know that you could?  We all have the luxury of hearing God’s voice! You ARE capable of hearing God’s voice! Whether it be an audible voice (which has never happened to me), or more of a gentle whisper that almost gets mistaken for a thought  (which is what I tend to receive from the Lord).
