Filling your cup up with the right kind of water

What have you been allowing to give you a false sense of value and worth? How many followers I have on social media? How many people like my posts? Whether or not our job is impressive or just ordinary and plain? Flashy vacations and clothes make us feel valuable and pretty? We make all of these things so important that they start to become idols in our lives. We begin to worship them more than we worship God.  We begin to be more concerned about them more than we are concerned about our relationship with God.Today, we break down the story of the Samaritan woman in John 4. God have traveled a long way for you to ask for water.  We need water to survive, correct. Without real water, we die. But Jesus isn’t talking about water-water anymore. He is talking about Himself being the living water.  He is LIFE. HE is EVERYTHING. Without Him, we DIE. WE perish to . But He doesn’t want that for His daughter. No matter how far away you are, even if you have made mistakes, have a bad reputation, He is coming through Samaria for YOU.Are you still focused on that worldly water?
