Faith-Seeker Series Part 1: Am I worthy enough?

We are diving into a Faith-seekers series. This is for those of you who are seeking that closer relationship with God. But you don’t know where to start. You doubt your faith. You can’t hear God. You feel like you’re too far gone. - Sister, you are NONE of these things. So to kick this off, we are going to study Jesus’ first miracle, turning water into wine and how He saves His best for your last.This is the first miracle of Jesus - It was a small miracle. Nothing grandiose. Normally, this verse is used to as a metaphor for the covenant bring new life from old. It’s symbolic of the world being concerned with external things: making the right impression, having the right clothes and purse, followers on social media, etc. But God is concerned with things being right on the inside: he wants to forgive our sins; he wants to give us the gift of eternal life and he wants us to start living that Kingdom-purpose life. He wants to transform us from people of the world to people of His Kingdom.Your life is redeemed because of Jesus Christ. If you want to start filling your cup back with His living water, you don’t have to earn it. God can and will still give you His best even when you feel like you’ve ran out. Holiness doesn’t come from your inner pride, ambition, hard work, achievements, or how many people like you. Holiness comes from Jesus. Applying what he taught and obeying God’s word over your flesh. Over what your thoughts tell you. Over what people tell you. Your first step to become a faith-seeker is to seek first his kingdom. Seek Jesus. Read about his miracles. Open up that bible and start in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Get to know who Jesus was, what he did, the miracles he performed.
