This episode we touch on some very interesting topics. I’m joined by Maria Lodetoft, psychic and healer, who uses sound vibrations, movement from yoga, and energy healing. In 2017, Maria ended her corporate sales job and dived into the holistic road, her professional holistic journey started as a yoga teacher. In 2018, she became a reiki practitioner and a sound healer and then started working with human brees, energetic low print, and the quantum field. Maria is also part of the Wellness Foundry group in London. And in this episode, we will talk about modern witchcraft. Witchcraft is so much more than spells and black magic, and since 1735 it is no longer a legal offense in Britain. For almost 300 years we’ve lost touch with our power and energy, until now. Maria spoke to me about gratitude, and it resonated so much with me. A lot of us would struggle to find something to be grateful for because we try to think of huge things or powerful moments in our life, but there are thousands of everyday things we can find gratitude in. Maria said that just being here is something to be grateful for, and it’s so true. The fact we can talk to each other on our phones, walk to the supermarket and pick up whatever we want, technology and electricity are incredible and we must show gratitude for those. Showing gratitude for life leads to connecting with the universe and practicing modern witchcraft. Take a walk outside to your favorite woodland or park and just see what you can find. Maria mentioned that creating an altar is a great way to practice being a modern witch. We laughed about how that isn’t all scary skulls and black candles, but a beautiful appreciation for the seasons and a way to give back to your inner child. I found it very interesting how Maria helps her clients deal with trauma and releases them through her healing. When we don’t want to do something, we create white lies and do everything we can to create a scenario in which saying no becomes acceptable. If we fill our energy with lies that become negative, so if we are just honest and realize that saying no is always OK, we release the energy blockage within ourselves. Freedom to say no and do what we want to leads to the release of tension and blockages, and it’s through this acceptance that any trauma can be healed. The use of music was particularly interesting, and Maria described to me she uses music to de-stress and deal with negative energy. Find music you love and just shake it out, shake away the negative energy, and turn it into appreciation and gratitude. Shift it out of your body. Apparently, the Dirty Dancing soundtrack is the way to go! For more visit : https://www.barbramay.com/episode02 Follow me www.barbramay.com @thebarbramayshow
