Building an Evangelistic Church

When it comes to the topic evangelism, it’s safe to say that we all can feel inadequate — we all struggle with it. How does a pastor, then, encourage a congregation who corporately struggles with evangelism? What does a culture of evangelism look like in the local church and what should it look like in light of Scripture? In this breakout session, Juan Sanchez answers these questions and more. Juan Sanchez has served as the preaching pastor and elder of High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, TX since 2005. He was converted to Christ in 1983 at the age of 17. Juan earned an undergraduate degree in Music from the University of Florida. He later earned a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is currently completing his Doctorate of Philosophy degree from the same institution. Juan and his wife have five daughters.
