5. Näkymätön vieras

Neljä ihmistä sairastuu harvinaiseen tautiin eri puolilla Yhdysvaltoja ilman selvää yhteyttä toisiinsa. Kun tutkijat alkavat selvittää tapausta, johtolangat vievät yllättäen yhden perheen kotiin Pohjois-Texasiin.

Tutkimukset johtavat lopulta kohti selitystä, jota kukaan ei ollut valmis uskomaan.
