In today's episode we dive deep into the magical world of herbs and their healing properties AND Human Design with the beautiful Erla Sól. I found Erla through her work with the amazing Womensynch - she is their herbalist and she is the woman behind the formulations of their teas and infusions which you can find HERE. Erla is a certified herbalist, Human Design analyst, energetic practitioner, coach, and guide. She was born in Iceland and she has now, after a long period of living in the USA, moved back there to her roots. She is working primarily with wild Icelandic herbs and is committed to holistic earth immersion and embodiment of ancestral and innovative modern practices that bring nourishment to individuals seeking deeper connection to their ecosystem, the land, and their soul essence. Erla creates herbal formulations rooted in traditional Icelandic plant medicine that are informed by classic Western herbalism. She says on her website: "I am absolutely enamored by the study of subtle energy and bringing a language to the things we all perceive in our intuitive body. I firmly believe that the intelligence of nature and our own inner compass is the blueprint for our success and actualization of our highest potential in this lifetime."In the episode we get to hear her story and how she came to be the person she is today. How she found the way to herbalism, her spiritual path and Human Design. She teaches us about the potency of herbs, gives tips on specific herbs to use for cleansing and for balancing the nervous system. How to make tinctures, teas and infusions and she also explains the difference between a tea and an infusion:). We also talk about Human Design and how she combines it with Herbalism. We go into the different energy types and she also teaches us about some of the other important aspects of the very deep Human Design system. In the end of the episode Erla gives us two book tips one for Humnan Design and one go-to for Herbalism - do not miss. This conversation is a real treasure and I'm deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to sit down with this incredibly insightful soul and wisdom keeper.
