The sense of freedom I had when I got my drivers license was unmatched. Riding the bus to school was the worst. When I was in school, the teachers would hit us with rulers. My parents were emphatic in their religious beliefs. My family used to have an annual reunion. We used to go fishing at the river most Sundays. For my birthday, all my extended family members would come over. I’m still recovering from my childhood. When I was in college I loved going to rock concerts. My taste in music has changed so much over the years. I have traveled to 15 different countries. I still remember the first time I saw the ocean. There are some freedoms I miss about childhood. Mostly I just love being an adult!
