Playing 226 games for the bombers, he was a vital part of the club's midfield for over a decade and has amassed awards, including the Essendon's Best and Fairest in 2011, All-Australian selection, Anzac Day Medalist and famously kicked the winning goal on Anzac Day in his first season of footy.
