The majority of books, cartoons, TV shows, and movies tell us we should meet someone, get to know them by going out on dates, texting and flirting, etc and then once we have 'got to know them' for a few years, then we can get married. That's how you fall in love. In a liberal secular society, that's the only acceptable option on the menu when it comes to love and relationships. It's interesting that not getting married is also ok and having a same-sex relationship is also cool. The worst mistake you can make is to marry the first guy you like or rush into anything because how will you know he is 'the one' if you don't have any experience?I want to test the validity of this narrative and to help me do that I have Heraa Hashmi she's a 23-year old graduate in Molecular Biology, currently working in research and based out of the Bay Area. She also serves as the Marketing Director for Traversing Tradition, and her interests include the Islamic sciences, linguistics, and bioethics.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/farhatamin/message Hosted on Acast.
