As Muslims begin observing the holy month of Ramadan, one southwestern Sydney street is expected to host more than one million people to one of the country's biggest food festivals. But concerns have grown over the commercialisation of Lakemba's night markets, with fears that what was once a community-driven event has lost its spiritual roots.
