United States President Donald Trump has dismissed concern around the addition of a journalist to a secret group chat, calling the criticism and calls for Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth to resign as a witch hunt. The country's top officials maintain it was an inadvertent mistake to add the journalist into the chat, which was discussing plans to attack Houthi rebels in Yemen.
