Embracing the empowering truth, we have learned that by abiding in Christ, we find the strength to love as He loved. But we are also reminded that the world may not share our enthusiasm for it. As Christians, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, guiding and convicting us while continuing to love others unconditionally.   We have found significant truths that resonate within our souls by drawing insight from the Upper Room Discourse in the book of John. In “What the World Needs Now,” we conclude by looking at John 17, where Christ prays fervently to the Father.   Through this prayer, we catch a glimpse of the very essence of divine love and find solace in the knowledge that we are not alone in our pursuit of love’s transformative power.
