#174: Uniqueness of Christ: Christ's Unique Reality

The Importance of Knowing the Uniqueness of Christ   No other religion that makes the claims the Bible or Christ Himself makes about His eternal existence? Christ’s unique reality, including His miraculous conception, the prophecies fulfilled about His coming, and His exaltation that transcends time and space, give us a glimpse of Christ’s uniqueness.   At a time in our world when the lies and schemes of the enemy are rampant, many are looking for truth, hope, and peace that can only be found in Christ. We hope to encourage your heart as our guest, Mark Rae, will help us dig deeper into the uniqueness of Christ over the next several episodes.   What Makes Jesus Christ’s Reality Unique?   Here are some of the distinctiveness of Jesus that sets Him apart from everybody else.   Apostle Paul says to the Philippians that it wasn’t tedious for him to keep Jesus in front of them. He desires to CONSTANTLY REMIND them of the person of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:1). The more they look to Him, the more they are molded in His image. Consequently, the less the world has an impact on them.   Likewise, Peter talks about the same thing in 2 Peter 1:12,   “For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.”   Marketing strategists say that it takes a person to hear the same message between 8 and 11 times before recognizing and engaging in it. So, hearing the uniqueness of Jesus Christ in a concentrated look gives us an awesome reminder of Who Jesus is and the uniqueness of Jesus above and beyond anybody else.   The Uniqueness of Christ Reveals His Identity   Nobody who has ever existed past, present, or future is as unique as Jesus Christ. But the underlying theme of that is WHY was He unique.  Christ’s unique reality is truly His own.   He was different from anybody else who has existed for a number of different reasons.
