#103: Golden Repair

Saving Grace - A podcast by Grace School of Theology

(Guest: Mark Rae) “Life breaks us all”, so says Earnest Hemingway, “but many are made strong at the broken places.” The truth of this statement can be seen throughout the Scriptures not only on what we are taught but also in the lives of certain biblical characters. In this 6-week study, we will journey together through things in life that can break us and what God does in our brokenness to strengthen us and to bring beauty and joy out of our broken places. In this first podcast we will take a look at trials and see what James tells us is the reality of trials, the response we are to have to trials and the result of our response to those trials. Let’s listen as Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace School of Theology and Executive Director of Grace Center for Spiritual Development shares with us the beauty and joy that God can bring out of trials.
