ESCAPING Human Trafficking - Coco's Story

Today's episode is more intense than ones we've done in the past and for good reason. Today we talk with Coco about her experience in being a victim of human trafficking. Coco shares her story of miraculously escaping when she was a teenager, eventually finding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly known as the Mormon Church) and forging her future.   Victims of human trafficking go through different experiences, different phases of grief, and different thought processes. However, all are the same in that they have profound stories of pain, hope, trial, and happiness that we can all believe and learn from.
