Can Mormons Get Divorced??

Saints Unscripted - A podcast by Saints Unscripted

Many christian religions condemn divorce. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (others known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church), divorce isn't taken lightly. HOWEVER, there are certainly times when divorce is necessary and even encouraged.    Today on Saints Unscripted (formerly known as 3 Mormons), we talk with Holly. Holly is remarkable! Her story is a story of faith, of empowerment, and of love. For as long as Holly can remember, marriage was heavily stressed. She was raised in the Church and thus, was taught the importance of an eternal marriage. She knew that when she was married in the temple, her marriage would be for eternity and she would need to fight for her marriage. However, she finally reached a point where she knew that for her happiness and for the happiness of her children, she would need to leave her marriage.   Holly talks about being made whole after a divorce and how to maintain your self-worth even after such a traumatic event. She also talks about the reasons why she believes divorce is more common today than ever before. Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/saintsunscripted
