Habits of a Positive Mindset Season 1, Episode 16 Reprogramming your mind always comes down to habits, and more accurately, habits of thinking different. Most people are seeking a more positive and empowering mindset.  I have found 6 habits essential for a positive mindset. Last week, I taught about one habit, meditation. Consistency is the biggest factor for creating new habits.  4:09 - The first habit, of Conscious Acts of Service is simple. If you want to increase life or yourself, you should help increase life for others.  8:27 - The second habit, Journaling about a positive experience helps build positive neural pathways. This is as simple as writing down a few wins for every day.  11:33 - The third habit, Exercise has different benefits like oxygenating your brain. Elevating your heart rate helps circulate oxygen throughout your body. Exercise naturally increases the need for hydration which increases how thoughts move through your body.  16:10 - The fourth habit is Study, which is focused time spent expanding your knowledge and awareness every day. 1 hour of study every day creates 260 hours of improving your craft every year.  17:51 - The most important area of study is You, your mind and how it works.  21:25 - The fifth habit, Meditation, is the most powerful habit and the one that has changed my life most. Experiment with a lot of different techniques of meditation.  23:17 - If you want to reprogram you mind, you should know what your mind is actually saying.  24:54 - Meditation will bring more calm and equanimity in your life.  27:06 - Meditation will allow you to act with greater intention and power.  30:15 - With all of these six daily habits, it takes time to see an impact.
