Giada Ragone & Luca Pietro Vanoni | Separation between State & Church in Italy

Religion & Teologi - A podcast by Centrum för Teologi & Religionsvetenskap

On the 14th of May, Giada Ragone & Luca Pietro Vanoni (of University of Milan, Italy) gave a lecture with the full title: "Separation between State and Church in Italy: The Constitutional Framework and the Crucifix Case", which provides an overview of the relationship between State and Church in Italy. They focus on the “peculiar” status of the Catholic Church, after which the famous case of the display of crucifixes in classrooms will be treated. This is the sixth lecture (of seven) in the series "The Many Guises of European Catholicism", that the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies is organising with support from the Centre for European Studies at Lund University. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Religion and Theology is produced by Joel Kuhlin for the Center for Theology and Religious Studies.
