Ep 037 - 5 Lessons Learned from My 1st CEO Mama Mastermind Meeting
Redefining You - A podcast by Amanda Cahill
On this episode of Redefining Motherhood, I’m sharing with you the 5 things I learned from participating in my first call of the CEO Mama Mastermind group. I hesitated to join this Mastermind and honestly didn’t know If it was the right room for me to be in. I candidly share how imposter syndrome got the best of me and how being part of the first call made me realize how many of us let imposter syndrome get the best of us and how many of us need community and sisterhood to not feel alone on our journeys. These are a few things I learned on that 1st call of the Mastermind that I hope will resonate with you: 1. We all have more in common than we think. Ambitious mothers face similar struggles with imposter syndrome and balancing career and family. 2. We are all seeking community and sisterhood with other women who understand our challenges. 3. Almost every ambitious mother goes through an identity crisis after having kids as they learn to balance career and motherhood. 4. Motherhood has permitted us to lean into our strengths and figure out who we are. 5. Beauty and fulfillment can be found on the other side of chaos. Our low points don't have to define us - with work, we can rise to the top stronger. The episode encourages you to find community, embrace your strengths, and have faith that better times are ahead even in the midst of challenges.
