As federal environment minister Murray Watt considers the extension of Woodside's North West Shelf gas project to 2070, a Pilbara traditional owner has launched a last-minute legal challenge to halt the decision. With an announcement expected within days, opponents including environmentalists, heritage groups and Indigenous activists are ramping up their calls against the proposal.
