A new charity connected to wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been launched to support whistleblowers, writers and activists who face persecution for sharing confidential information in the public domain. The new charity is called The Information Rights Project and is designed to offer advocacy, education and other practical support to those not just in Australia but worldwide.
