The Keynote speaker - As a keynote speaker you will be charging for your service. If you value what you’re bringing to the table other people will too. A keynote may range in length between 30 and 180 minutes and is a great way to build a big brand and earn huge sums of money. The Sales speech - This is one of the most lucrative types of speeches you can do if you have a product or service that you are looking to promote, that is either yours or someone else’s.  You can fee split and it’s a great way to earn money. The delivery speech - You run your own events and people pay to come and see you as the individual speaker, the expert within your field or niche. You deliver and there is not a sale or any additional fee. Have your own main strategy or subject that you are known for You may have 2 or 3 areas that you are expert in or have one larger area of expertise ‘an umbrella niche’ that can be broken down into sections. Create one speech around your niche initially. When perfected this speech can be the one you are known for. You’ve got to create your brand You’ve got to create a strong brand and get your name out there as the expert in your field. You want your audience to think of you whenever that niche or field of expertise is mentioned. Promote yourself Promote yourself using social media. Showcase your skills across varied platforms, People should be able to find out lots about you before they’ve even met you. Look also at local networking events and attend them regularly so you can make yourself known. Build relationships with promoters You need to let promoters know you are available. Ensure that you are known to them and make sure you keep reminding them regularly about who you are and that you are available. Always be ready Have presentation equipment and your presentation always with you. You never know when an opportunity may arise. If you have prepared and practised and speak with volition it can have ongoing positive results.
