Q&A: Is Your Toilet Seat Turning Blue?
Pregnancy Podcast - A podcast by Vanessa Merten
Categories:
There are a lot of strange things that can happen during pregnancy. Some expecting moms may be surprised to see that their toilet seat is turning blue. If you have not experienced this, picture a white toilet seat with a faint blue print where your butt and thighs come into contact with the toilet seat. While it may be most noticeable on a white toilet seat, it can happen with other materials, like sheets, your deodorant stick, or anything that is coming into contact with your skin. Some of the hypotheses as to why this happens are due to dye from new maternity jeans, the pH of your skin, or your sweat having a chemical reaction to something, and of course we can always blame hormones for anything pregnancy related. This episode answers a listener question and explains why she is turning her toilet seat blue.
