Q&A: Baby Movement

Pregnancy Podcast - A podcast by Vanessa Merten

Categories:

It can be exciting to feel your baby move. For many moms this is a nice reassurance that there is in fact a baby in your belly. Your baby starts off making spontaneous movements really early on, but your little one is so small that you do not feel them. As your baby’s nervous systems continues to mature the neurons between the muscles and the brain are connecting, which gives your little one control over their movements. The more your baby grows the more pronounced their movements are. This episode answers a listener question about when in your pregnancy you can feel your baby moving.
