Lynne Abraham-Yadlin - Creating Family and Home for Refugees

Lynne works with Home For Refugees in LA County to help refugees from Afghanistan and other countries feel more welcome in the U.S. and ultimately experience a greater sense of belonging. As a career music professional, Lynne sets the example for all of us to be peacebuilders in our everyday lives and communities. She worked as a conductor for many years and also did educational outreach, bringing music and music appreciation to schools in Orange County that might not otherwise have had the opportunity to experience classical music. For the last 4-5 years she has also been active in peacemaking efforts and working with refugees.
