His specialities include Sports Trauma Injury, Joint Replacement, Hand & Rheumatoid Surgery, & Adult & Paediatric Orthopaedics, the latter including Deformity Correction & the Management of Degenerative Joint Disease in young people.    He has an extensive background in research and has served on the editorial board for numerous journals including but not limited to: Bulletin of the Hospital for Joint Disease, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Review, Arthroscopy, Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine, British journal of Medicine, Techniques in Knee Surgery, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (British Volume),  Foot and Ankle Surgery, and many more.
